The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) intends to apply part of its budgetary allocation to fund eligible payment for the REPAIRS OF LECTURE ROOM CHAIRS AND DUAL SEATER TABLES WITH CHAIRS AND PAINTING OF LECTURE BLOCK COMPLEX to support its programme of works. The University of Professional Studies, Accra hereby invites sealed Tenders from eligible Suppliers for the REPAIRS OF LECTURE ROOM CHAIRS AND DUAL SEATER TABLES WITH CHAIRS’ AND PAINTING OF LECTURE BLOCK COMPLEX

Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 and Public Procurement (Amendment) ACT, 2016 (Act 9 14) and the guidelines of the Public Procurement Authority of the Republic of Ghana.

Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from the University of Professional Studies, Accra and inspect the Tender Documents at the Secretariat of the Registrar, from Tuesday 4th July, 2017 between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00 pm each working day.

A complete set of Tender Documents in English may be inspected and purchased by interested Tenderers on submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHc200.00) only in cash at the Finance Directorate of University of Professional studies, Accra.

Tenders are to be clearly marked “TENDER LOT I. “REPAIRS OF LECTURE ROOM CHAIRS AND DUAL SEATER TABLES WITH CHAIRS” LOT 2. PAINTING OF LECTURE BLOCK COMPLEX

Tenderers may tender for ONE or ALL of the Lots.

All tenders should be accompanied by the following documents:

  1. Company’s Registration Certificate
  2. Valid Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) Tax Clearance Certificate (Valid up to the month of Tender Submission)
  3. Valid Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) Clearance Certificate
  4. Valid Added Tax (VAT) registration certificate
  5. A Tender Security of 2% of the tender price from an Insurance Company or Bank.
  6. Reference of Similar Supplies previously undertaken

Complete Tenders must be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Office of the Registrar on or before 10.00am on Monday, 31st July, 2017.

Late Tenders will be rejected. Tenders shall be valid for period of 90 days after Tender submission.

The University is not bound to accept any tender.

Tenders will be opened in the presence of the Tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend at 10.00 am on Monday, 31st July, 2017, at the University of Professional Studies, Accra, in Conference Room 2.
